I Am A Giraffe, Apparently.

Darkness surrounds me. I don't know where I am, who I am, or what I am expected to do. But somehow, I know how to think. I have sentient thoughts, and I know that what's happening is the course of life. I'll see the world soon enough, but for now, there is only rest...

Homecoming Week

I didn't exactly participate in the frivolous activities of Homecoming Week. I saw absolutely no point in dressing up, and I had no means of transportation to attend the game. I believe, however, that if I had had any way to get there, I still wouldn't have gone. I have no interest in sports, nor am I a very active person, if I have the choice. Since I look on homecoming with indifference, I can't say honestly that I "look forward to" next homecoming.

First Experience With BSIS Buddies

When we arrived at Beech Springs, I was assaulted by a sickening wave of nostalgia. I just barely managed to blockade my tear ducts and hold back the oncoming flood that threatened to burst forth from my eyes. I was pushed to my limit when I spotted one of my favorite teachers from the familiar setting. It was Mrs. Rash, my former music teacher. The meeting was brief, and soon I was ushered into the old cafetorium and told to take a seat with my trusty partner Jackson Crow. We waited as our soon-to-be proteges marched into the public dining room, and it wasn't but two minutes before we met Samuel and Kendal. Sammy was talkative and open, but Kendal took a bit of coaxing. We all talked about our favorite video games, because that's just what boys do. Kendal slowly opened up to us and we ended up having an amazing day. Those kids brightened up my week, and I look forward to seeing them again.
